The Outpatient Services Building is the first major expansion to Primary Children’s Hospital in 22 years. This multi-phased project creates a state-of-the-art clinic facility and a four-level parking structure with 1,500 stalls. 

The large parking structure incorporates strategically located expansion joints between garage sections and adjacent buildings to eliminate restraint and allow for movement. This greatly reduces the risk of cracking. Standard sized post-tensioned long span beams were designed to span the unusually large structural bay size (64’ x 27’) to provide column-free space for wider drive aisles.
